Assignment #1

This photo is called Zoom by Paulbtlw. I really like this photo because it captures motion, but the entire picture isn't blurry. Sometimes, motion pictures are like a blur and you can't make anything out of it, but this one shows the detail on the child's face, and the detail of the bike as it is moving. It makes me think of moving fast form one thing to another, and life zooming by very quickly. I think this photo is very appealing to the eye. Something I could take from this photo is the idea of a blurred background then a still-looking subject, instead of one big blurry picture.

  1. The boy's expression says it all. This was captured by panning (moving the camera with the subject). the black and white gives it a timeless feel.
