Aerial photography is the kind of photography where you take pictures of the ground from a highly elevated position. The cameras can be hand-held or mounted, and they may be taken by a photographer. Platforms that are used for aerial photography include aircraft, helicopters, hot-air balloons, blimps and rockets, kites, parachutes,as well as vehicle mounted poles.
